1) Paul Blart : Mall Cop -Came in the number 1 spot... Bringing in 21.5 mil
2) Underworld Rise of the Lycans- 20.7 mil ( Not bad for Opening weekend)
3) Gran Torino- 16.0 mil
4) Hotel for Dogs- 12.4 mil
5) Slumdog Millionaire - 10.6 mil
I didn't get to go to the movies over the weekend but I would have expected Slumdog Millionaire to come out in the Number 1 spot! Since it won a Golden Globe, Sagg Award for "Best Picture", and now nominated for an Oscar! I've heard nothing but great reviews! I'm definitely going to have to check it out and fill you guys in :)
