BIG UPS: Mona Scott-Young, the powerhouse manager who served as President of Violator Management for the past 16 years, announced today the launch of a new multimedia entertainment company, Monami Entertainment.
The New York City-based company will offer services that include brand and product development, talent management, television and film production, and marketing. The company’s roster includes Scott-Young’s longtime multi-platinum clients Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes, as well as up and coming twin sensations Brit and Alex (Interscope) and BET host Tocarra. Joining Scott-Young in the venture is long-time colleague Yandy Smith, who brings her premier client, Jim Jones, to the company’s roster. (HipHop Co-Sign)
